Ms. Cora Lucinda Foggie Wells, age 85, of 516 Barnswallow Drive, Simpsonville, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at her home. Born in Laurens County, a daughter of the late Clyde Foggie and Corrie Jones Foggie and wife of the late Fred Wells, she was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Carl L. Wells of Richmond, VA and Maurice Sullivan of Pelzer; three sisters, Macie Wharton, Alberta Stenhouse and Henrietta McGowan all of Fountain Inn; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and four great, great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, with Rev. Waddy L. Talley officiating. Entombment will be in the Cannon Memorial Park. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
