Mr. Clarence Mills, Jr., age 82, of 209 Capewood Road, Simpsonville, died Monday, July 4, 2016 at the McCall Hospice House, Simpsonville. Born in Greenville County, a son of Eva Clayton Mills and the late Clarence Mills, Sr., he was a member of the Old Pilgrim Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Hattie B. Mills of the home; one son, David Morton of Philadelphia, PA; one daughter, Patsy Scott Thomason of Mauldin; his mother, Eva Clayton Mills of Fountain Inn; one brother, Clarence Moore of Columbia; five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 4 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Old Pilgrim Baptist Church, with Rev. Albert Goldsmith officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Garden. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
